Welcome to Your Body

In order to survive, your body is made up of many biological and physiological systems that are constantly reacting to both your external and internal environment in an effort to maintain homeostasis.

Homeostasis is a common term used to describe the body’s unique ability to maintain a normal state, and adapt to a forever changing environment.

Homeostasis is defined as “any self-regulating process by which biological systems tend to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that are optimal for survival.

If homeostasis is successful, life continues; if unsuccessful, disaster or death ensues. The stability attained is actually a dynamic equilibrium, in which continuous change occurs yet relatively uniform conditions prevail.”

Having a greater understanding of this and how the body works is critical in making the right decisions to achieving any goal, whether is be fat-loss, improved energy, improve physical strength, it is all dependent on the desired outcome as to what particular methods need to put in place.

Also knowing the delicate interaction between systems, and how the body will react to a change in stimulus, environment and/ or situation is paramount if you want to be successful within your goal.

This is where our studio stands alone when it comes to helping all of our clients. Studio Phoenix houses machines that use the latest in innovative technology that results in our clients achieving their goals, but more importantly we provide our clients with the knowledge and understanding of what is actually going on inside their body.

Knowledge is power, once you have the knowledge as to how your own body works, you have the power to make important decisions in your everyday life to achieve your fat-loss goals that are enjoyable, healthy and sustainable.

The human body is a product of evolution, it is programmed with one very important key instinct, survival. This survival instinct is why we adapt and it governs how our body behaves to certain stimulus.
